Norma’s herbal and flower jellies are made from an infusion of fresh or dried herbs and flowers into the juice of fresh apples, which provides a natural pectin. Many of the herbs are grown in her garden, or supplied from local organic sources. Other jellies use fresh local produce, with the addition of pectin. All are delicious additions to your meals, and great hostess gifts.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, John Shea now lives on Newboro Lake where he maintains a picturesque studio overlooking Rosal Bay. Having first attended the School of Art & Design at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts for two years, he then went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Art from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University in Kingston.

For the past 25 years, John has taught Visual Art in Perth. “Prior to teaching, I worked as an Architectural Renderer and this is reflected in my love of portraying local heritage buildings in and around the Rideau Lakes area.” John’s watercolours, or “Architectural Portraits” are set in landscapes that are at times both dramatic and serene, lending an atmosphere of quiet mystery to his work.
